Ruby Red Depression Glass is one of the most recognizable of all the types of depression glass on the market. there is no mistaking its unique color as it is easily spotted from across the room. Hocking was one of the largest producers of the royal looking color of depression glass and offers the widest selection of pieces. Many of the ruby red glass items are most notible for their thick glass walls and heavy feel. This was one of my grandmother's favorite types of depression glass to collect as it looked wonderful in the china cabinet.
